engineering staff at STI has a wide range of capabilities and expertise as a
result of many years analyzing and designing the hardware built at STI. Our engineering analysis and design
capabilities are also available as a separate service to customers in support
of their own programs and needs. Below
summarizes our capabilities and expertise. Mechanical Design (2-D and 3-D solid modeling): - Parametric solid modeling and design - Corrosion resistant materials - Reduced magnetic permeability materials - Configuration management to ASME
standards - MIL-SPEC compliant Structural Analysis: - Finite element modeling (MSC/NASTRAN) - Linear and static - Large deformation and nonlinear - Buckling - Vibration We also
